Guilin Night Tour Guide | You Must Experience the Night Views of Two Rivers and Four Lakes in Guilin at Least Once

| You must experience the night views of Two Rivers and Four Lakes in Guilin at least once. 📸 Hi, I’m the food-loving nightscape enthusiast 🐱 Sister Cat Demon!

The highlight of my Guilin trip was definitely the nighttime walking route through the Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area. I highly recommend skipping the expensive boat tour (saving hundreds!) and instead exploring Guilin’s enchanting night views on foot 🌉.

Follow my route 👉 for a quick guide to Guilin’s night tour!
❤️💛💚💙💜🧡

📍 Fubo Hill Scenic Area (Photos 2–3)
Fubo Hill features a light show at night, something not mentioned in most guides. Coincidentally, we stayed at the Poetry and Distance · Li River Courtyard Hotel (Two Rivers and Four Lakes & East-West Alley Branch) at the foot of Fubo Hill. From our river-view room, we enjoyed the show before heading out.

📍 Guilin Liberation Bridge (Photo 4)
Walking from Fubo Cultural Park toward Xiaoyao Tower, you’ll find a breezy riverside path with stunning Li River night views. Along the way, locals fish (Li River fish is delicious!). When you hear the music of square dancers, look up to see the dazzling Liberation Bridge.

📍 Xiaoyao Tower Ruins (Photo 5)
At the base of Liberation Bridge, stairs lead to the road. Even from below, you can admire the brilliantly lit Xiaoyao Tower.
The current ruins preserve some ancient artifacts, while the tower itself was rebuilt nearby. Visit during the day for history, but at night, just enjoy the exterior views 👌.

📍 Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area (Photo 6)
Though this entire route is part of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area, we stumbled upon the 280 RMB/person night cruise near Twin Towers Park. Instant win!

📍 Sun and Moon Twin Towers Cultural Park (Photos 7–8)
The Twin Towers look ordinary by day, hiding their true beauty—the Sun Tower’s solid copper and the Moon Tower’s glazed tiles. But at night, they shine brilliantly. Even casual photos 📸 by the shore turn out stunning.
For a bird’s-eye view, head to the Cloud Terrace Restaurant at Bohin Hotel (Two Rivers and Four Lakes Branch) nearby. We didn’t dine there but were allowed onto the terrace for photos.

📍 Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area (Photos 9–10)
At ground level, you can only glimpse Elephant Trunk Hill through gaps in the park fence. For the best view, cross the street to the terrace at Jingxiang Hotel’s Aili Fang View Restaurant. No need to dine—just take the elevator to the 7th floor.

📍 Zhengyang Pedestrian Street
After the sights, we took a shortcut back to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, where the bustling night scene is equally charming. If you have energy, explore East-West Alley (we skipped it after visiting by day).

📍 Gold Award Beer Fish (Guilin Specialty Farmhouse Cuisine)
We ended our night tour at this restaurant near Zhengyang Road. Their delicious beer fish and Li River-brewed beer made for a perfect finale 👍.

I’m no ultra-fit "special forces" traveler, but this route was easy for me—so you’ll do just fine 💕.
