After breakfast, depart from Sheraton Guiyang Hotel, 28.7 kilometers away, about a 55-minute drive. Around 9 o'clock, many cars were already parked along the road at the entrance of the scenic area, and various markets were open for business. Walk down the dirt slope and turn right for 200 meters to reach the ticket office at the entrance. The third visit gets half price. The scenic area covers more than 200 acres, with one performance each in the morning and afternoon. After entering, it is recommended to arrange your photo and sightseeing schedule according to the performance times. Opposite Huaxi Yelang Valley is Dou Peng Mountain, which is said to have been the residence of the Yelang king's successor, Jinzhusi. The ancient Yelang fortress ruins are still preserved on the mountaintop, which is how Huaxi Yelang Valley got its name.
Most visitors come for the visual impact of the facial masks and masks. The first photo reminded me of Ubisoft’s game "Rayman Raving Rabbids." Various totem dolls have different expressions and postures, and the clusters of stone statues on both sides of the river are very impressive.
