Foggy Fanjingshan, Straight Out of a Dream

#chinatravel Fanjingshan is wild in the best way, especially when it’s all foggy. The whole place turns into this surreal, floaty world where peaks rise out of the mist like something from a fantasy movie. You’re just walking through clouds half the time and it’s kind of unreal.

The hike up is no joke, with tons of steps, but the views totally make up for it. That iconic mushroom rock and the twin temple peaks are extra cool when they’re half hidden by fog, super moody, super magical. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and just go “whoa” every few minutes.

Even if you’re not big on hiking, there are cable cars to help you skip the hardest parts. Once you’re up there, it’s quiet, peaceful and honestly feels like another planet.

If you’re into dramatic views and mysterious mountain vibes, foggy Fanjingshan is a must. Just bring good shoes, a jacket and your chillest mindset.
