Blown up by friends! The most suitable niche attractions for National Day travel

Took my younger siblings to Zuo Long Gorge and discovered this place is truly a hidden treasure in Western Hunan!
We are native Western Hunan locals, but it was our first time visiting. Because there has been little rain this year, the riverbeds at the entrance of the scenic area were dry, so if you want to play in the water or go stream trekking, you might be a bit disappointed. However, there are still pools and small waterfalls in the core scenic area, and the scenery is just as beautiful.
The most thrilling part is the iron chain plank road in the canyon, winding all the way up. Some parts are quite steep and require using both hands and feet to climb, which is super exciting! My 7-year-old kid climbed faster than anyone else, so it’s definitely great for family trips with kids.
A reminder for everyone: be sure to wear non-slip shoes, or it’s easy to slip on the wet stones. Also, travel light and don’t bring too much stuff to avoid tiring yourself out.
I’m a bit regretful that we didn’t get to do the stream trekking this time, but it gives me a perfect reason to come back during the rainy season!
