#summervacay Stumbled upon Gugsaam while looking for something lowkey to do, and it’s got this peaceful, tucked-away charm that just hits different. The walk up isn’t super intense, more of a gentle forest trail that winds its way through tall trees and random patches of sunlight. You’re not exactly climbing Everest here, but you’ll still feel like you did something by the time you reach the top.
And the temple itself? Total vibe. Small, quiet, and surrounded by nature, it feels like you accidentally wandered into a Studio Ghibli scene. There were barely any people around when I went, which made the whole place feel extra peaceful. You can sit on a bench, listen to the wind, and just… exist. No stress, no rush.
Not a huge time commitment, either. It’s the kind of mini hike you do when you want a mental reset without exhausting yourself. Bring a drink, take your time, and soak in the calm. Gugsaam isn’t flashy, but it’s full of good energy. Definitely adding it to my “go again” list.
