The Yuan Ming Yuan

The Yuan Ming Yuan (Old Summer Palace) in Beijing, also known as the "Garden of Gardens," was a grand imperial garden complex built during the Qing Dynasty. Covering 350 hectares, it featured exquisite Chinese and Western architectural styles. Sadly, it was looted and destroyed by Anglo-French forces in 1860. Today, it stands as a historical park, showcasing ruins and reconstructed sections.
