| I'm so good at choosing hotels.
Hotel: WeMeCare U Hotel (Haikou Arcade Old Street Branch), opened in 2023

Reasons for choosing: New! Cheap! Convenient free parking
Cost: 1 night, approx. CNY 204/night, approx. 25 sq m, no meals. WeMe Smart Double Room price is for reference only. I checked in on a weekday. Today it's CNY 213 (there are also similar room types available for under CNY 200).
Parking: Free on-street parking spaces at the entrance
Advantages: Cheap!! Newly opened!! The environment is OK considering the price; takeout can be delivered to the room door; late check-out and early check-in are available; good service
Disadvantages: The bathroom is a bit small; shampoo and shower gel are in large bottles (I recommend bringing your own toiletries).
I don't know why there are so many buildings under construction or renovation near accommodations in Haikou? When I was looking for a room, they were all like this. This one is the same. When I booked, I saw that the construction would be completed by the end of June. If you are a light sleeper, please consider this (I'm an average sleeper, but I told the hotel in advance, and they arranged a room on the 8th floor, so I wasn't affected at all).
