Sung Sot Cave, hailed as the most spectacular and largest stalactite cave in Halong Bay, truly lives up to its reputation. From the moment you step into the entrance, the scenes unfold like a movie, leaving every visitor exclaiming "Amazing!"
The cave consists of three chambers, and as you venture deeper, the space becomes increasingly expansive, making it hard to believe such a wonder is hidden within an island.
First Chamber: The entrance area is relatively small but serene, with stalactites hanging like curtains.
Second Chamber: The space widens, revealing various stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Third Chamber: A vast and magnificent hall resembling an underground palace.
Under the illumination of lights, the natural rock formations take on fantastical shapes like giant elephants, sea turtles, and lotus flowers, sparking imagination and a sense of mystery.
✨ Tips:
After disembarking, you’ll need to hike up stairs for about 10 minutes to reach the cave entrance, so remember to wear comfortable shoes.
⛴️ Transportation Info:
Sung Sot Cave is located on Bồ Hòn Island and is typically a highlight stop on Halong Bay day tours or two-day-one-night cruise itineraries. Booking a boat trip through local travel agencies or cruise companies is required.
