[Fukuoka Cafe] A restaurant where you can enjoy a hearty Japanese set meal

I went to "Shokudo Owan" in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City 🍚🥢

This restaurant is a favorite on April 11th♪

It's a sister restaurant of "Koyoriyaya Sonohen" 🙌

The first thing you see when you enter the restaurant is a large stone table.

You sit in a U-shape, with a cherry blossom branch in a large bowl in the middle. 🌸

It was very impressive and beautiful. 😊✨

They have both table and counter seating, so even solo diners can feel at ease. 🙌

They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and all are delicious. 😋

I won a promotion this time, so I went for lunch. ♪̊̈♪̆̈

A selection of Japanese-style dishes, including hearty side dishes, served in small bowls. 😋

You can choose from meat, fish, or mapo tofu for the main course.

We chose meat (skirt steak) and fish (conger eel and bamboo shoot tempura) and shared them. 🙌

All the small dishes were delicious, and the main course of conger eel and bamboo shoot tempura was incredibly crispy and delicious. 🫢✨

The meat was also perfectly seasoned. ❣️

Ah, the homemade soy milk tofu completely changed my expectations of tofu. It melted in my mouth and was delicious. 🥺︎💕︎

The clay pot rice had distinct grains and a scorched texture. ♡⃛

Everything was a satisfying meal. 😋

Additional menu items, like a mentaiko tasting menu and a sashimi platter, made me want to come back. 🫢✨
