The beautifully renovated Chikushi Exit of Hakata Station

Hakata Station is so popular with both inside and outside the prefecture that it can be called the main terminal of Fukuoka.

There are two exits, the "Hakata Exit" and the "Chikushi Exit".

The "Hakata Exit" faces the department stores and Tenjin area, giving it a lively image.

The "Chikushi Exit" is on the Fukuoka Airport side, but it has a rather plain image.

The "Chikushi Exit" was a plain exit with just a taxi stand and a hotel, but it has been reborn as a convenient and easy-to-use terminal with many monitor screens and well-maintained sidewalks.

It will take some time for the renovations to be completed, but the station has a bright and open atmosphere that has completely changed its image.
