When visiting Hokkaido during the flower blooming season, you must visit this place, Goryokaku Star Fort.

This is considered one of the most beautiful cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan.

You can see the cherry blossoms in full bloom along with the garden in Goryokaku Star Fort.

How to get there
🚇 From Hakodate Station, take tram line 2 or 5 to Goryokaku Koen Mae Station and walk north for 10 minutes (about 700 meters).
🚗 There is a parking lot next to the park.
⏰ Cherry blossoms bloom around the end of April to the beginning of May every year. (It is recommended to check the cherry blossom forecast. Up close)
