This is a pond dedicated to Benzaiten, located just off the first parking lot of Hakone Shrine.

It's behind the shop and off the approach to the shrine, so some people leave without noticing. What a waste...

Even in the hot summer, it's nice to sit by the cool pond and enjoy some dumplings while watching the carp.
