The Baita Mountain Scenic Area is located on Dajin Mountain, 4.5 kilometers southeast of Yilong County. Its name comes from its shape, which resembles a giant golden character displayed in the universe. The mountain is surrounded by steep cliffs, with only a single road leading directly to the summit on the north side. The White Pagoda is built on the top of the golden character. Because of its white color, the pagoda is known as the White Pagoda, and the mountain itself is named Baita Mountain. The entire peak is covered with fir and pine trees, remaining lush and green all year round.

In the scenic area, naturally occurring wonders such as stone dragons, stone eggs, stone troughs, stone caves, sky holes, sky pools, natural eyes, monk stones, and Wenshu rocks are scattered among the dense green pines and forests, which are dazzling and increase the passion for exploring and enjoying the beautiful scenery; hundreds of exotic flowers and plants in five artificially cultivated thematic gardens such as cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, red-leaf plums, and red-leaf peaches are a feast for the eyes of tourists.
