Relive the beauty of Hakone - Lake Ashi in the morning

Ever since I learned how to travel independently and no longer have to set out with a tour group early in the morning, I have developed the habit of running early in the morning. The last time I traveled to Hakone, it was Christmas. The weather was a little cold but sunny, especially Mount Fuji, which was decorated with white snow, making the scenery even more beautiful. It was a good time to enjoy the beauty of Mount Fuji.
Most people stay at hot spring hotels in Hakone, but this time I stayed at Lake Ashi where there are fewer people, so I could fully enjoy the embrace of nature.
Lake Ashi, formed by a volcanic eruption 4,000 years ago, is one of the most representative places in Hakone. In addition to viewing it from the cable car and taking a Lake Ashi sightseeing boat, I chose to go jogging in the morning to appreciate its beauty up close and quietly. Get up at 5 am and run along the shore of Lake Ashi. While feeling the fresh air, you can also see the beautiful scenery near Moto-Hakone Port. The morning mist floats on the calm lake, which reflects the magnificent Mount Fuji like a mirror. There are also pirate sightseeing ships parked on the shore. Such a scenery is unforgettable.
