Hakone Yumoto Onsen is one of the seven major hot springs in Hakone and is the largest hot spring street in Hakone.

The hot springs of Hakone originated in the Nara era and developed into the Edo era. It has already been the most bustling and prosperous hot spring street along the coast of the Tokai Island.
