[Kanagawa] Take a day trip with the Hakone Free Pass

A whirlwind trip using the Hakone Free Pass.

The Hakone Free Pass is a round-trip pass sold by Odakyu Electric Railway and other companies.

This time, it was November, when the leaves change color, so

I enjoyed autumn in Hakone from Hakone-Yumoto Station using the Hakone Tozan Railway, Hakone Tozan Cable Car, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Pirate Ship, and Hakone Tozan Bus.

First, I took the Hakone Tozan Bus to "Sengokuhara Susuki Grassland."

A vast grassland that spreads as far as the eye could see.

It was a beautiful place with the golden silver grass shining.

Next, I took the Tozan Bus to "Hakone Shrine" and "Kuzuryu Shrine."

This place is well known for being a great place for social media posts, and there was a long line at the "Peace Torii" to take photos.

After leaving the shrines, I took the Hakone Pirate Ship to Togendai Port.

I had some time before boarding the boat, so I took a break at "Ashinoko Chaya."

I had some cute heart-shaped matchmaking cakes.

Eat some sweets and recover your energy!

We took a pleasant swaying ride on the pirate ship to Togendai Port.

We continued on to Togendai Station and took the Hakone Ropeway to our next destination, Owakudani.

We could feel the beginning of autumn as we watched the trees starting to change color from the ropeway.

Then we went to Owakudani.

As soon as we got off the ropeway, the smell of sulfur filled the air, and it was a place where you could feel nature alive.

Our mission here was to eat black eggs!

It is said that eating one black egg will extend your life by seven years.

I buy one every time I visit, so I don't know how many I've eaten.

Finally, we took the Hakone Tozan Cablecar and Tozan Railway back to Hakone-Yumoto Station.

It was a whirlwind trip, but we were able to complete all our missions and it was a very satisfying trip.

The Hakone Free Pass is a great deal.

You can choose between a 2-day or 3-day ticket, so it's fine even if it's not a whirlwind trip.
