Breakfast at Ichinoyu

Breakfast at Susukinohara Ichinoyu was a standard Japanese meal.

It featured Hakone's specialty, dried horse mackerel, and Ichinoyu's original tofu.

Of course, there was also a soft-boiled egg!

The main dish was a vegetable soup with ginger. It was similar to oyaji (rice porridge) and was easy on the stomach, especially when you first wake up.

I had imagined that breakfasts at hot spring inns would be huge, but at Ichinoyu, the portions were modest and just right.

Since I was only about 80% full, I was able to enjoy the hot spring right after returning to my room.

This is an inn where you can fully enjoy the hot springs.
