[Hakone] Gora is more than just a transfer point! A nostalgic park where you can enjoy everything from craft experiences to cafes.

Gora is famous as the transfer station between the Hakone Tozan Railway and the cable car, but it also has a spacious park with great views and well-equipped facilities!

Hakone Gora Park is a historic park that dates back to the Taisho era and is a nationally registered monument. Its French-style formal gardens blend with Japanese culture to create a nostalgic atmosphere.

The park's workshops offer a variety of craft experiences, and there's also a cafe with panoramic views of the Hakone mountains. You can also relax on benches around the fountain and rose garden, making it a great place to spend your time.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Gora Station, but it's located on a steep hill, so if you're worried about walking from the station, we recommend taking the Hakone Tozan Cable Car from Koen-shita Station or Koen-kami Station.

If you're heading from Gora Station, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
