Hakone Shrine's approach and martial arts hall

As you walk along the approach to the main hall of Hakone Shrine, you will find yourself entering an increasingly mystical space.

There is also a martial arts hall along the way, and although there was nothing going on there when I visited, it was a very beautiful place.

When visiting Hakone Shrine, we recommend wearing sneakers or shoes that you are comfortable in and can walk long distances in. Also, be prepared as the stairs to the main hall are quite steep!
