After alighting from the cruise to Lake Ashi, this is one of the must visit torii shrines. You will need to hike and climb stairs to reach this place. So please be prepared and check your timing to your next connecting bus/cruise ride. Don’t get turned off when you see a long queue of people waiting for their turns to take photos at the torii shrine. You can be like me, go onto a higher position within the hike and take a close up photo. This torii shrine is known as gate of peace and the torii appear to be floating in the sea.
