Lake Ashi - Enjoy the Stunning View of Mount Fuji from the Lake

Lake Ashi is located on the western side of Hakone Town, covering an area of approximately 690 hectares with a depth of 723 meters. It was formed by volcanic activity. The scenery here changes with the seasons, especially the autumn foliage and winter snow, which are particularly enchanting. Traveling from Tokyo to Hakone is very convenient, as you can take the Odakyu Romancecar directly to Hakone-Yumoto Station. Once in Hakone, you can use the Hakone Free Pass, which includes all local transportation and is very cost-effective.

Hakone Shrine: Established in 757, this shrine is famous for its vermilion torii gate and lakeside scenery. Visitors can pray for good relationships and happiness here.
