Japan Travel | I Saw the Golden Mountain in Nagano: Hakuba Village.

|I Saw the Golden Mountain in Nagano: Hakuba Village.🏔️Hakuba is best known for its ski resorts, as it was one of the venues for the 1998 Winter Olympics.
🏠It's not snow season yet, so I stayed at a guesthouse in the village, where I could see the morning sun shining on the snow-capped mountains.

🚗There is a free bus from JR Hakuba Station to [Hakuba Iwatake], and then you can take a cable car to Mt. Iwatake (1,289 m), where you can ride a mountain bike at the top.
🥖The New York coffee shop [THE CITY BAKERY] has also opened a store at the top of the mountain, with outdoor seating overlooking the Northern Alps.
The coffee shop has a glass-enclosed observation deck where you can take pictures, and there are a lot of people, especially on weekends when there are lines of tourists taking pictures. There is also a swing (for a fee) facing the mountains next to the coffee shop.

🍁This season, you can take pictures of the famous three-stage autumn leaves at the observation deck, with snow on the top of the mountain🏔️, autumn leaves on the mountainside🍁, and green trees at the foot of the mountain🍃.

Iwatake Cable Car Green Season Operating Hours: 4/19–11/17
