When you come to Kunming, you must visit Haigeng Dam to see the seagulls! From October to March of the following year is the season when Siberian red-billed gulls come to spend the winter. The seagulls flying all over the sky combined with the beautiful scenery of Dianchi Lake make every photo a masterpiece📸
🕊 Haigeng Dam Travel Tips:
The best viewing time is from 8 to 10 a.m., when the seagulls are most active and willing to interact with people.
You can bring some bread or gull feed to feed the seagulls; they will enthusiastically fly around you.
The dam is 2.5 kilometers long, so it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and take a leisurely walk.
On sunny days, you can clearly see the "Sleeping Beauty" landscape of West Hill on the opposite side.
