Bundala National Park

#srilankatrip
I recently visited Bundala National Park in Sri Lanka, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! This hidden gem is located along the southeastern coast of the island, covering over 6,200 hectares of wetlands, lagoons, and dry forests. What really blew me away was the birdlife—there are over 200 species of birds here, and during the winter months, it’s a hotspot for migratory birds. I was lucky enough to see flamingos, storks, and a variety of waders up close!
