Xiaohe Zhijie traces the waterside lifestyle of the late Qing Dynasty & the early Republic of China 🇨🇳

Not a popular place some years ago, it became gradually commercialised with a plethora of coffee shops ☕️, restaurants 🍜& handicrafts 🪭 A charming contrast of the old v/s the new!

I highly recommend adding it to your Hangzhou itinerary 👌🏼It’s such a vibrant place which is also gorgeous at night with the lanterns lit 🏮✨

How to go ➡️ I took a taxi from West Lake cultural Square metro station. It was about 15-20 mins.
