Sha Village, located northeast of Xizhou Town, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, in northwestern Yunnan Province, is within 3 kilometers of the ancient town. The Sha Village Committee administers three villages: Sha Village, Shenjiang, and Chengbei. Sha Village and Shenjiang lie along Erhai Lake, while Chengbei lies north of Xizhou Ancient Town, adjacent to both Sha Village and Shenjiang. The coastal road skirts Sha Village and Shenjiang, encircling the village. National Highway 214 provides direct access to the village, which also serves as a designated Haixi rural village on the coastal road. The village boasts beautiful natural scenery, and Chengbei boasts numerous distinctive Bai ethnic minority ancient buildings, imbued with a strong ethnic character.
