Weekend Getaway 028 | Summer Evening Breeze at West Lake

West Lake, renowned since ancient times, is located in Hangzhou, often referred to as 'Heaven on Earth'. It remains a top-tier tourist destination, always bustling with visitors. It's a must-see! ❤️ However, from mid-June to the end of August, temperatures often exceed 40°C. If you plan to visit during summer, it's advisable to enter the park after 4 PM and take a few rides on the electric shuttle to save time.

The entire West Lake scenic area is vast and can take a whole day to explore thoroughly. If you only want to visit the Ten Scenes of West Lake, based on personal experience, you can complete it in half a day with a leisurely pace. Generally, it's recommended to start from the Broken Bridge Remnant Snow on the north side and walk counterclockwise, ending at Orioles Singing in the Willows.

West Lake is truly beautiful. I highly recommend staying until dusk to see the Leifeng Pagoda Sunset. ☀️ The weather was perfect that day, and we caught the sunset glow. Watching the sunset while enjoying the summer evening breeze was incredibly relaxing and perfect. ❤️
