Finding Peace and Inspiration at West Lake

A girl who moved to Hangzhou found solace and strength at West Lake during her first year there.

Despite a busy life, she always found peace whenever she visited the lake. Her love for photography grew as she captured its beauty, a passion she maintained since arriving in Hangzhou.

With few friends, she often explored West Lake alone with her camera, capturing sunrises, sunsets, and every corner. Unlike the crowded Broken Bridge, she preferred the path from Yongjin Gate to Jixian Pavilion, with its withered trees, ancient bridges, flying birds, and curved bridges. As the sunset cast golden rays over the lake, it seemed to whisper that life always holds warmth and vitality.
