Hangzhou cuisine, a branch of Zhejiang cuisine, is famous for its light, fresh, and slightly sweet flavors, often featuring freshwater fish, shrimp, bamboo shoots, and seasonal vegetables. Dishes are carefully prepared to retain their natural taste and tenderness.
We ordered
-Longjing Shrimp (龙井虾仁) – Stir-fried river shrimp cooked with West Lake’s famous Longjing (Dragon Well) tea leaves, creating a light and fragrant flavor.
-Grandma’s BBQ Pork (外婆红烧肉) – Juicy and slightly crispy pork belly with a caramelized glaze, one of the restaurant’s most beloved dishes.
-Osmanthus Sticky Rice Lotus Root is a local specialty, known for its sweet, soft, and glutinous texture with a fragrant osmanthus aroma. The stuffed sticky rice inside is also sweet and delicious.
Other specialties include braised duck, black pork & fresh shrimp soup dumplings, and heart-shaped osmanthus rice cake.
