Nantianmen, located on the southern peak of Langya Ancient Temple at an altitude of 310 meters, is the highest peak in Langya Mountain. It houses the Huifeng Pavilion and the ancient Bixia Palace. Climbing to Nantianmen is via the "Erjiu Path" or "Heavenly Gate Ascent." From Huifeng Pavilion, one can gaze out over the Yangtze River, a belt-like structure, Zhongshan Mountain, and the converging peaks, resembling a surging tide. Bixia Palace was built to commemorate the Bixia Fairy, who contributed to the beautiful scenery of Langya Mountain.
Every year on the ninth day of the first lunar month, people flock to worship, giving rise to the grand "Ninth Day Temple Fair." The legendary spectacle of "Mirage," captured by CCTV's Langya Mountain scenery crew on July 3, 1992, adds infinite magic to Langya Mountain.
