From Suzhou ➡️ to Lin'an!
Letting the kids run free in the Valley of Wind, enjoying the healing scenery of Qingshan Lake, combined with the attentive service at Lin'an Marriott Hotel—this two-day, one-night family trip was incredibly relaxing~
❤️ Itinerary:
Day 1:
Morning: Early departure ➡️ Valley of Wind Grassland
Afternoon: Check in at Lin'an Marriott Hotel at 3 PM
Day 2:
Morning: Sleep in, enjoy hotel breakfast, check out at 12 PM
Afternoon: Qingshan Lake Forest Park, then return home
🏨 Accommodation: Lin'an Marriott Hotel
Upon arrival, the lobby was impressive with huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering great views of Lin'an's beautiful scenery. The hotel is well-equipped for families: baby slippers, dental kits, bath towels, bathtub... I must praise the bedding—so comfortable!
The hotel also has a swimming pool, gym, and there's a commercial street within walking distance.
Dining:
The breakfast selection was dazzling with plenty of kid-friendly snacks and Lin'an specialties.
For lunch, we had Cantonese dim sum buffet at the Chinese restaurant. So many choices! The shrimp dumplings were filled with bouncy shrimp, and the red rice sausage was crispy and juicy... The most amazing was the durian swan pastry with its rich durian flavor—my child and I fought over it! Everything is made to order with unlimited servings, perfect for families with children.
🏞 Nearby Attractions:
📍 Valley of Wind:
About 1 hour drive from the hotel, featuring 3,000 acres of expansive grassland that's very therapeutic. New Zealand scooters, grass sledding, a pet paradise where kids can interact with small animals, and a non-powered playground that's perfect for burning energy—my child didn't want to leave.
📍 Qingshan Lake Forest Park:
Just 10 minutes by car from the hotel, a healing matcha-green forest with lush greenery everywhere. Walk through the metasequoia forest and enjoy the beautiful scenery of "trees growing in water, boats sailing through forests."
This trip to Lin'an Marriott was not only fun for my child but also a great relaxation for me!
