Hangzhou West Lake Anyu Hotel
The hotel is nestled in the heart of "Manlonggui Rain," one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake. It's a 10-minute walk to Prince Bay Park and a 15-minute bike ride to Su Causeway Spring Dawn, just 5 kilometers from Lingyin Temple. In the morning, open your window to mountain mist filling your senses; at night, fall asleep to the sound of insects—a perfect blend of urban and natural environments.
Located at 226 Siyangjing, West Lake District, Hangzhou, Anyu draws inspiration from Southern Song Dynasty minimalist architecture, using natural wood, blue bricks, and plain tiles as its spatial language. The three-story low-rise building hides among the mountains and forests, not competing with the trees in height, allowing only white walls and dark tiles to converse with the lush greenery. Entering the lobby, warm yellow light falls on simple wooden furniture, with tea classics and poetry collections scattered on bookshelves, as if traversing a thousand years of Song Dynasty charm. In the courtyard, bamboo shadows dance and stone paths wind, showcasing the harmony between Eastern Zen and contemporary minimalism.
Tea Room and Library: In the afternoon, hold a book with a pot of pre-Qingming Longjing tea as time slows down; the hotel provides vintage bicycles for riding along Yangong Causeway to Maojiabu to capture West Lake's morning mist; butler's secret route! Climb Jiuyao Mountain for a panoramic view of West Lake, passing through thousand-year-old temples; make osmanthus sachets and experience Southern Song Dynasty tea ceremonies to appreciate intangible cultural heritage; take a sculling boat on the lake, listening to boatwomen sing southern folk tunes, as if traveling through a millennium.
