Hangzhou Staycation New Choice|Xianghu Free Manor

After staying for two nights, I felt Free Manor is completely different from conventional trendy hotels—it's like a hidden utopia tucked in the city's folds, perfectly blending nature, art, and relaxation.

🏨
The room views are absolutely stunning—the kind that makes you go "wow" the moment you open the door! It's like living inside a landscape painting. The room type I stayed in, the Flowing Rhythm One-Bedroom Suite, is one of only four in the entire hotel. The design totally gets young people—warm wood tones + minimalist lines, cozy yet sophisticated. The room offers a complimentary mini-bar and an incredibly generous welcome fruit platter 🍉🍊🥭. The hotel uses the full set of "Yulong" amenities.

🍽️
Breakfast features an open buffet with a huge variety of freshly baked bread! My favorites are the freshly made donuts and pineapple buns! The aroma mingles with coffee, and the spread includes both Chinese and Western options. 🪷 The restaurant boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the mountains and lake. For dinner, I chose the Western set menu at the hotel's ground-floor Xiangying Mediterranean Restaurant! The Australian grain-fed M4 ribeye steak was perfectly seared—crispy outside, tender inside, medium-well done just right 🥩. The Italian vegetable soup was so good I couldn't get enough! The dessert 🍮 was crafted like an artwork, with rich layers of flavor.

🌳
The public areas are a celebration of "nature + art"! The indoor pool is ultra-design-forward, with ripples reflecting the streamlined ceiling lights—swimming here feels like gliding through the Milky Way 🌌. The outdoor garden is even more breathtaking. Stroll along the paths and discover art sculptures hidden among flowers, while fountains cascade from a circular dome, the water flowing as smoothly as a silver curtain from the sky. Standing beneath it, listening to the sound of water and wind... The hotel also has a gym and a kids' activity area, with an impressive selection of board games ♟️.

The traffic flow in public areas uses split-level designs to create rich spatial layers, featuring connecting corridors between different functional zones and blue Mediterranean-style elevators. The atrium linking the guest room areas is designed as a sloping hallway—it feels like stepping into a spaceship, lol! This seamless fusion with nature and the relaxed vibe is truly healing~

📸 Hidden Photo Spots Revealed
Don't just shoot from the usual angles! Here are some secret spots:
✅ Silhouette shots in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows with the landscape as the backdrop—the atmosphere is next-level, especially on rainy days when the layers pop;
✅ Low-angle shots under the fountain dome—water + sky + sculptures = explosive artistry;
✅ The pebble paths in the outdoor garden—shoot from the side with sunlight filtering through leaves for a forest-themed masterpiece 🍃;
✅ The summer creek exploration experience will open in late June.

Spending two days at Xianghu Free Manor felt like a "deep spa" for the soul—no forced trendy poses, no noisy crowds, just nature, food, and art flowing gently, smoothing out life's wrinkles. If you're looking for an escape from the city's hustle, this place is totally worth it!
