In Hangzhou!!! This affordable hotel is really incredibly comfortable to stay at

Lin'an Marriott Hotel

🏘️Room Type/Layout:
This stay was in a basic room, checked in on April 20th. Guest rooms are distributed from the 4th to the 15th floor, with the 15th floor including the executive lounge. The overall number of floors is not very high. I originally thought that the Lin'an Marriott would assign rooms on higher floors due to the building height, as the Jinhua Marriott rooms are mostly above the 30th floor.
The room was assigned on 1512; I specifically asked the front desk to choose a room on the same floor as the executive lounge for convenience so the child wouldn’t have to go up and down while doing homework. The room is marked as 42 square meters, which is slightly more compact compared to the 46 square meters rooms at Wuxi Luneng Marriott. You need to insert the key card to enter, and the layout is reasonable.

🛌Amenities/Facilities:
The bathroom has a large bathtub and disposable bathtub covers are available. The window faces a construction site, so the view is quite ordinary. No bottled water was found upon check-in, but after contacting the front desk, a robot promptly delivered four bottles, which was likely an oversight by the cleaning staff. The twin beds are about 1.2 meters wide, suitable for single adults or children; when staying with kids, sleeping positions may need attention. Welcome fruits are delivered promptly without needing to ask.

🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness:
No obvious hygiene issues were mentioned; overall cleanliness is maintained. Soundproofing was not specifically noted, but it is presumed to be at a normal level.

💁Service and Dining:

- Executive Lounge: Service starts at 12:00, offering soft drinks and fruits like apples and oranges; after 14:00, small cakes, cut fruits, and candies such as White Rabbit milk candy and Alpenliebe are added, which are very popular with children.
- Happy Hour (HH): Served from 17:30 to 19:30. On April 20th, the hot dishes were mainly vegetarian, including tofu stewed fish, qianzhang buns, stir-fried cowpeas, stir-fried cauliflower, and egg-fried zucchini. The fish in the tofu stewed fish was mostly taken by early diners, and there were relatively fewer ribs in the pork rib corn soup.
- Breakfast: Overall performance was average. The red bean dumpling soup tasted good, yogurt was from Weiquan Youkeful, and the hot dishes were similar to those served at the previous night’s happy hour, mainly stir-fried. There were also volcanic stone roasted chestnuts, which were a distinctive snack.

🏊‍♀️Recreational Facilities:
The third floor has abundant facilities, including 4 private mahjong rooms (148 RMB/hour), two pool tables, a private mini cinema, and a fairly large children's playground, so many guests stay with children. The gym is small but includes a yoga room; the pool requires going up one floor after changing clothes. There is no hot spring pool, but there is a connected small pool with water massage loungers, although one of them was not functioning well.

💰Average Cost:
Basic room after stacking coupons costs 691 RMB/night

💗Other Tips:
The hotel’s children’s facilities are quite complete, making it suitable for families with kids. The candies in the executive lounge provide a nice experience for children, but the happy hour and breakfast dishes tend to be vegetarian, so guests who prefer a richer selection of meat dishes may want to take note. When checking in, you can communicate your room type preferences with the front desk in advance to get arrangements that better meet your expectations.
