The memorial hall is relatively small and can be explored in less than half an hour. Notably, it houses many of Su Dongpo's poems. After visiting, you can also head to the nearby Su Causeway, a structure personally supervised by Su Dongpo.
Su Dongpo once said, "I have already been to Hangzhou in my lifetime," reflecting his deep affection for Hangzhou and West Lake. He composed famous works such as "Drinking on the Lake: First Sunny, Then Rainy" for Hangzhou.
Inside the hall, you can find his poems, portraits, and a detailed introduction to his life. It's worth spending some time to explore!
Su Dongpo loved West Lake and was deeply attached to it. His life was full of ups and downs, and his genuine affection for the lake is evident in his poetry.
