【Hanoi, Vietnam】Serein Cafe & Lounge

Long Bien Bridge is one of Hanoi's tourist attractions. It was the city's first steel bridge, built by the French between 1899 and 1902 during the colonial era. It connects the Hoan Kiem and Long Bien districts on either side of the Red River. This cafe is right next to the bridge, offering outdoor seating and a view of the historic bridge.

The cafe has five floors. After ordering on the third floor, you can choose to dine on the third, fourth, and fifth floors. The fifth floor is open-air, and above it, there's a small raised terrace offering an unobstructed view of the Long Bien Bridge. For hot weather in Hanoi, opt for the fourth floor. You can take photos on the balcony before dining inside. The décor is elegant and retro.

Dish: Egg coffee. The egg custard on top was very sweet, while the coffee underneath was quite bitter, with a light cocoa aftertaste. I wasn't particularly fond of it.
Photo Location: The seating area on the fourth-floor balcony. You can open the door and take photos of the archway for a unique look.

💰Average Cost: A bit high for Hanoi prices. A cup of egg coffee and a juice cost NT$319.
📍Address: 16 Tập thể Ga Long Biên, Đồng Xuân, Hoàn Kiếm, Hanoi, Vietnam
🕰️Opening Hours: 8:00 AM–11:00 PM
