St. Alexeev Church

St. Alexeev Church is located on Shike Street, Nangang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. It is an Orthodox church and is now the Harbin Catholic Patriotic Association.
The church was designed by architects Smirnov and Dostanovsky. It is tall, majestic and eye-catching. The dome is supported by 4 pillars, 2 of which are central and side dividing lines, with the central part being the sanctuary. There are holy paintings by the holy painter Sadrokini in the church. Above the column there is an icon of the saint explaining doctrine to his disciples.
We went there in the morning and happened to catch the church service. There was a priest leading the believers and a professional choir, it was solemn and dignified.
To get to the church, you can take bus No. 8, 87, 109, 121, 7, 386, 17 or 18 and get off at Gexin Street Station.
