#One-day trip plan#100 ways to travel
We came to Harbin in September, the weather was nice, the temperature was around 20-13 degrees. We arrived in the morning and walked to St. Sophia Church from Harbin Railway Station about 1 km. We went to take pictures around the area. In the afternoon, we checked in to our hotel in the central commercial area, opposite Zhongyang Street subway station. There were restaurants on both sides of the road. In the evening, we walked to Zhongyang Pedestrian Street, there were many shops. At the end of the street, there was a tunnel under the road to the Songhua River. People sat and watched the view of the river and the boats passing by. Nearby, there was Stalin Monument Park. The architecture of the buildings here is similar to Russian and European styles. In the morning, near our accommodation, there was a red brick morning market with many people buying and selling. A little later, we took the subway near our accommodation and got off at Chinese-Baroque Block station. The fare was around 3 yuan, about half an hour. We went to walk around the pedestrian street and take pictures. There were many shops and some of them had shops selling food or products from Russia. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to stop by Ice and Snow World station, which is in the city because we had to take the train back to Beijing. We could only visit in one day.
