There are two Shangri-La hotels in Harbin. One is the Shangri-La Hotel Harbin in Daoli District, which opened in 1999. The other is the Songbei Shangri-La Hotel on the north side of the Songhua River, which opened in 2017 and is a relatively new Shangri-La hotel. This afternoon, I had a cup of coffee at the Songbei Shangri-La Hotel for CNY 9.9 and visited the hotel's executive suite.

Review of the drink:

Highly recommended. After seeing that I was using a CNY 25 platform coupon, the staff told me that the price would be cheaper if I verified my Shangri-La Circle membership. They were very enthusiastic and attentive throughout. The coffee had thick milk foam and latte art, and the taste and temperature were just right. There was water, napkins, a sugar jar, a stirrer, and snacks. Perfect.

Review of the room:

This executive suite is a corner room on the 18th floor with two doors, but one is usually closed before check-in. On the right side of the entrance is the living room and bathroom. The living room has a built-in TV, a tea table, and a sofa. The mini bar is chargeable, and there is a piece of Dove chocolate in the mini fridge. This room type includes two executive privileges.

The room has a large bed and a sofa by the bed without a footrest, a TV, and a humidifier. The room is spacious. The bathroom area has double sinks and a separate shower and toilet. The room has a view of the Songhua River on the Songbei side. Overall, it is very good.
