Finally checked out Harbin Pharmaceutical Factory No.6 (Harbin Pharma Six) — also known online as the “Oriental Louvre”! 👀
Let’s see if it really feels like stepping into Europe~ 🇫🇷
🌟 Location
⚠️ Don’t make the rookie mistake — navigate to “Harbin No.6 Printmaking Museum (哈药六版画博物馆)”, NOT “Harbin Pharma Factory No.6”! They’re different places! 😆
🌟 Opening Hours
🕘 Tue–Sun 9:00–17:00 (last entry 16:00)
❌ Closed on Mondays (except public holidays)
💰 Admission: Free!
You might see “online reservation required,” but honestly, no one checks. We literally ran in at 4PM just before closing — 100m sprint style 🏃♀️💨
🌟 How to Visit
Currently, only floors 1, 4, and 5 are open.
Recommended route: Courtyard → 5th floor → 4th floor → 1st floor (follow the signs).
Note: No elevator, only stairs! 😅
The 4th and 5th floors feature print exhibitions and a mini museum about the factory’s history.
Make sure you don’t miss the grand hall on the 1st floor — it’s the most “Louvre-like” part of the building!
🌟 Personal Thoughts
Photos look super golden and luxurious online — and yes, it does have that “European palace” vibe in pictures.
But in person… let’s just say it’s a little rough around the edges 😅
Still, it’s a fun “since we’re here, might as well” kind of stop. Don’t expect too much and you’ll enjoy it more! 🤭
