[Monkham Village Hat Yai – A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Bali]

If you’re planning a trip to Hat Yai and looking for a place that combines modern comfort with tropical aesthetics, Monkham Village might just be the perfect stay. Tucked away in a quieter part of the city, this 4-star hotel gave me serious Bali vibes the moment I stepped in.

The atmosphere is peaceful, with lots of greenery and thoughtful design details that make you feel like you’re somewhere far more remote – it’s hard to believe it’s just a short drive away from Hat Yai’s buzzing city center. The layout of the hotel is beautifully done, with a lush garden and a lovely pool at the heart of the property. It really felt like a hidden sanctuary.

The Room
I stayed in a deluxe room, and it was both clean and incredibly spacious. The decor was simple yet elegant, with earthy tones and wooden accents that gave off a cozy, resort-like feel. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with good water pressure – always a win. There’s also a little patio area, perfect for relaxing in the morning or evening with a drink in hand.

The Breakfast Experience
One of my favorite parts of the stay was the breakfast setup. The dining area overlooks the pool and garden, and it’s just such a relaxing way to start the day. Monkham Village is conveniently located – right infront of Cheevit Cheeva (a must-visit for dessert lovers) and only about a 7-minute drive to the Lee Garden area, which is the heart of Hat Yai’s shopping and street food scene. Despite its central location, it still feels very private and quiet, which I really appreciated.

Overall Thoughts
If you’re into peaceful stays with a touch of tropical charm, Monkham Village is definitely worth considering. Whether you’re visiting Hat Yai for a short getaway or as part of a longer trip, this place offers great value, comfort, and aesthetic – I’d happily stay here again!
