⭐️The Chenghuang Temple in Hefei, built during the Northern Song Dynasty, is known as the number one Chenghuang Temple in Luzhou Prefecture and has the reputation of being 'exceptionally rare under the heavens'.

⭐️The City God is an important deity widely worshipped in Chinese religious culture, often represented by meritorious officials or heroes who have contributed to the local people, and is a god of city protection believed in by the folk and Taoism. It was founded in the third year of the Huangyou reign of the Northern Song Dynasty.

⭐️The Chenghuang Temple in Hefei is a classical garden in the Wanjiang region, with the architectural style of ancient Huizhou.

⭐️To commemorate Sun Jue, the first prefect of Luzhou Prefecture, the Chenghuang Temple was built. He was deeply loved by the people for his dedication during his tenure and was revered by the people as the number one City God of Luzhou Prefecture. In the tenth year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1871), Li Hongzhang rebuilt it in the style of the opera tower in Beijing's Summer Palace.
The Chenghuang Temple in Hefei is thus named after Sun Jue, the first prefect of the Northern Song period, and the building has been destroyed and rebuilt several times due to wars. The surrounding shops are also tailored to the needs of tourists, with a focus on tourism rather than belief itself! It has long become a tourist attraction in Hefei.
