The Green Heart of the City, Lvzhou Park, Hefei

If Hefei had a “Central Park,” this would be it. Lvzhou Park is where locals come to walk, stretch, photograph flowers, and just exist without hurry.

In spring, the entire park explodes into plum blossom season — pink and white petals drifting across stone paths like confetti. In summer, the lotus ponds take over, floating calmly beneath willow trees. Even in winter, it’s quiet and poetic, like a painting in grayscale.

Joggers circle the water, grandparents play cards under pavilions, and children chase bubbles over bridges. It’s not flashy — it’s peaceful, and that’s exactly why it’s perfect.
