Heilongjiang River Scenic Area – A Stunning Waterfront Walk 🌅🚢
We explored the Heilongjiang River Scenic Area, a beautiful riverside promenade offering stunning views of the Russian city just across the water. The fresh air, peaceful atmosphere, and charming pavilions made it a perfect place for a morning or evening stroll. We also took a boat ride on the river, enjoying the panoramic scenery of both China and Russia! The best time to visit is at sunset when the river glows under the golden light.

Wudalianchi Volcanic Scenic Area – A Geological Wonder 🌋🏞️
One of our favorite spots! Wudalianchi is one of China’s most famous volcanic landscapes, formed by ancient eruptions that created five interconnected lakes. We hiked through lava fields, visited crystal-clear mineral springs, and admired the beautiful reflections of the mountains in the lakes. It’s a paradise for nature lovers and geology enthusiasts. We recommend visiting in autumn when the colorful foliage adds to the stunning scenery.

Dongning Fortress – A Glimpse into History 🏰⚔️
We took a trip to Dongning Fortress, a historical site that played a crucial role in China’s defense during the early 20th century. Walking through the tunnels and old fortifications, we felt like we had stepped back in time. The fortress offers an educational experience with its museum and well-preserved military structures. If you enjoy history, this is a must-visit spot!
