Hengshan mountain in Hunan is very accessible

A lovely mountain. We took the bus up and walked down giving us a chance to see all the temples. A long hike but mainly downhill. It is a one hour hike from the bus stop to the peak. There is another temple 2.4 km from the path to the summit. It is called Guanji temple and is worth a trek if you have the energy. Cost 110rmb for the mountain and 78 rmb for the bus. Ok restaurant at top cost 58rmb by the broken cable car line
