Coming to Chifeng in winter to see the snow is truly amazing! As Inner Mongolia's "Arctic Village," the snow scenery here is completely comparable to Northeast China. The key is that it has few crowds, beautiful scenery, and low prices, making it simply a treasure destination for winter travel ❄️
🚌 Itinerary
Day 1:
📍Yulong Sand Lake: A wonder of half desert and half ice and snow, where you can experience snowmobiling and camel riding (Ticket: 80 RMB)
📍Reshuitang Hot Spring: Soak in natural hot springs and enjoy the snow scenery. Hot spring resorts are recommended; for 150 RMB per person, you can stay in a room with a private hot spring ♨️
📍Dalinuoer Lake: China's third largest swan lake, the frozen lake surface in winter is incredibly stunning. Remember to wear non-slip shoes (Free admission)
Day 2:
📍Keshiketeng Banner: A true snowfield wonderland. It's recommended to charter a car to explore (approx. 400 RMB/day); the rime forests along the way are breathtakingly beautiful
📍Ulan Butong Grassland: The grassland transforms into a snowfield in winter, and it's a filming location for "Wolf Totem." For photos, it's recommended to wear bright and warm down jackets
📍Dahongshan: Danxia landform covered in silver, especially good for photos at sunset (Ticket: 50 RMB)
🍲 Food Recommendations
✅Copper Pot Mutton Hotpot: Recommend "Grassland Shepherd," 60 RMB per person with a generous amount of meat
✅Mongolian Meat Pie: "Bate Mongolian Cuisine"'s beef meat pie is exceptional, 3 RMB/piece
✅Roasted Millet with Milk Tea: Available in every restaurant, savory, fragrant, and warming to the stomach, a must-try
⚠️ Warm Tips
1. From December to February, the coldest temperature can reach -30℃, so you must prepare a thickened down jacket and snow boots
2. There are long distances between scenic spots, so it's recommended to charter a car or join a local tour
3. Bring a thermos cup; many restaurants offer free hot water
4. The glare from snow is strong, so sunglasses are essential to prevent snow blindness
