
Bazhong City, located in the northeastern Sichuan Basin, is the central city of northeastern Sichuan. With its beautiful natural scenery, Bazhong seamlessly blends the majestic grandeur of the north with the graceful beauty of the south, earning it the nickname "Northeast Sichuan's Oxygen Bar."
Bazhong is also a renowned revolutionary base, home to the country's largest Red Army Martyrs Cemetery and the Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Museum, featuring inscriptions by Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, and other Party and state leaders. Bazhong is rich in tourism resources, boasting numerous scenic spots, including Guangwu Mountain, Nuoshui River, Micang Mountain, Enyang Ancient Town, Nankan Grottoes, the Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the General Headquarters of the Red Fourth Front Army, and Kongshan National Forest Park.

Guangwu Mountain Taoyuan Scenic Area
The Guangwu Mountain Scenic Area, located at the junction of Sichuan and Shaanxi, is characterized by its unique karst peaks, pristine vegetation, and captivating waterfalls, pools, and canyon scenery. In late autumn, Guangwu Mountain becomes a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, with the mountain's forests bathed in a breathtaking crimson. The peak viewing season for the crimson leaves is from mid-October to mid-November, when the annual Guangwu Mountain Red Leaf Festival is held. Autumn temperatures can be quite low, so bring a thick jacket.
Nuoshui River Scenic Area
Located in the northern part of Tongjiang County, Sichuan Province, the scenic area spans 525 square kilometers and comprises four independent scenic areas: Nuoshui Dongtian, Linjiang Lixia, Kongshan Tianpan, and Singing Stone Forest. These four areas are arranged in an arc-shaped pattern, featuring a harmonious blend of lush mountains, picturesque waters, unique caves, and stunning rock formations. The scenic area, along with Tongjiang Red Army City, forms a circular tourist route. The area boasts over 300 scenic spots, including 128 karst caves, over 300 treacherous rapids and clear pools of varying beauty, over 100 waterfalls, undercurrents, fountains, and water curtains, and approximately 75 breathtaking peaks, cliffs, secluded gorges, and dangerous passes.
Enyang Ancient Town
Enyang Ancient Town, located in Enyang District, Bazhong City, a former revolutionary base in northeastern Sichuan, borders the city of Bazhong to the east. The Enyang River flows through it, hence its name. Enyang Ancient Town boasts a long history, originally developed from a water wharf. During the ancient era when water transportation dominated, it flourished and was once known as "Little Shanghai." Twenty-eight ancient streets and hundreds of Ming and Qing dynasty buildings still remain. Due to Bazhong's poverty-stricken status, it has not been well developed. As one of the "Ten Ancient Towns of Sichuan," it remains relatively unknown, resulting in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
