Hiratsuka Hachimangu Shrine can be seen by going straight down Festa Road from JR Hiratsuka Station.

The grounds are surrounded by quiet greenery.

There are carp in the pond.

The fortune slip that caught my eye was the "Shinba Mizumikuji" (Divine Horse Water Fortune Slip).

When you dip the slip in water, the letters will appear on the paper.

There is also an explanation of passing through a straw ring.

There is also a vending machine for Shonan Cookies near the parking lot.
