✓ Fujita Memorial Garden

This small but beautiful garden outside Hirosaki Castle offers a three-in-one ticket for ¥520, encompassing Hirosaki Castle, the Botanical Garden, and the Fujita Memorial Garden. Hirosaki was once a hub of civilization and enlightenment in northern Japan, and many of its buildings still retain their charm, creating a feeling of time travel back to the Taisho era.

The garden features a red-roofed teahouse, the "Taishō Roman Teahouse." Its interior, with its mosaic glass, kotatsu, window frames, and lighting, evokes a mesmerizing Taisho era. The best seats, located in the former solarium, are window seats, offering views of the garden's beauty throughout the four seasons while savoring sweet treats.

The lower ground portion of the garden is a strolling garden centered around a pond. From the teahouse, visitors can admire the pond, irises, azaleas, waterfalls, and eight bridges, all changing with the seasons.
