Located south of Hirosaki Park, the Hirosaki Castle Botanical Gardens boasts a vast expanse of land and boasts over 1,500 species and 120,000 plants, making it one of the most vibrant attractions surrounding Hirosaki Castle. The gardens are divided into several zones, including the Alpine Botanical Garden, the Rose Garden, the Medicinal Herb Garden, and the Iwakiyama Vegetation Area. A stroll through the gardens offers a diverse array of flora, from native Tohoku plants to world-renowned flowers.
